What is TikTok Studio?
TikTok Studio is a content creation and management app designed to help creators grow their accounts, manage their content, and get insights into their performance in one place. You can also access TikTok Studio with limited tools for creators in the TikTok app and web browser.
TikTok Studio is available to people 18 years or older (or 19 in South Korea).
Getting started with TikTok Studio
You can log in to TikTok Studio using your TikTok account. Once logged in, your TikTok and TikTok Studio accounts will be linked, allowing you to stay logged in and switch between the two apps using the information you provided when creating an account. If you don't have a TikTok account, you can sign up directly on TikTok Studio.
To sign up or log in to TikTok Studio:
1. Download TikTok Studio from Google Play or the App Store.
2. Open the app. From here, you can:
༚ Create a TikTok account, which you can use for both TikTok and TikTok Studio. Tap Sign up at the bottom of the login screen, then follow the steps to create a TikTok account.
༚ Log in using your existing TikTok account.
༚ Log in through a third-party platform, such as Google or Facebook. Keep in mind that you'll still need a TikTok account if you choose this method.
Your account and privacy settings in TikTok Studio
Some of your account and privacy settings are shared between TikTok and TikTok Studio, with some settings managed directly within the TikTok Studio app.
Account information and privacy settings you can manage on TikTok Studio:
• Language: Set the default language for the TikTok Studio app.
• Passkey: Set up a passkey to log into TikTok Studio.
Note: Any changes made to the above settings will only apply to your TikTok Studio profile.
Account information and privacy settings shared between TikTok and TikTok Studio:
• User information: Update the contact information for your account.
• Password: Update the password for your account.
• Download your data: Request to download your data in TikTok Studio.
• Deactivate or delete account: Temporarily deactivate or permanently delete your TikTok account. Keep in mind that this will remove access to both your TikTok and TikTok Studio accounts.
• Privacy settings: Switch your account between public and private, and manage interactions like comments, Duets, and Stitches.
• Blocked accounts: Manage the accounts that you've blocked in TikTok. Keep in mind that blocking an account on TikTok also blocks it in TikTok Studio.
• Security & permissions: Review security alerts and manage security settings, including 2-step verification, and trusted devices on your account, as well as permissions for other apps and services connected to your TikTok Studio account.
• Activity center: Manage post visibility and associated videos.

Home
Get inspiration for your content creation:
• Trending: Discover content filtered by region and topic.
• Inspiration: Browse content for inspiration and insights on its performance.
Both feeds are designed to provide you with a variety of content to inspire your own creations. While the Inspiration feed is tailored to show you content based on your interests and engagement, the Trending feed offers a non-personalized experience, showcasing a broader range of content based on the region and topic you choose.
Analytics
Track your account and content performance:
• Overview: Summary of your account and post analytics.
• Content: Metrics for all of your posts, trending content, and more.
• Viewers: Key metrics, demographics, and activity times of your viewers.
• Followers: Demographic view and other insights on your followers.
Depending on your location, you can get aggregated performance insights on posts, such as user engagement through our analytics tools in the Inspiration feed:
• Overview: View summary of a post's performance, such as views and engagement rate.
• Trend charts: Track performance over time, including the number of views and likes.
• Top words used in comments: Identify words that are commonly used in the comments of a post.
• Creator: Gain insights into the performance of recommended creators.
Create
Use advanced editing tools for content creation:
• Auto captions: Add and edit captions for your posts.
• Photo editor: Edit your images with Stickers, filters, crop settings, and more.
• AutoCut: Apply templates with effects, music, transitions, and more.
• Camera: Open your device camera to capture, edit, and upload content.
• Upload: Upload images or videos from your device.
A few things to know about creating content in TikTok Studio:
• If you upload or delete a post in TikTok Studio, it'll also be uploaded or deleted in TikTok.
• If it's your first time creating or editing content in TikTok Studio, you'll need to grant the app access to your camera, microphone, photos, and videos on your device.
• Any changes to your post settings will apply across TikTok and TikTok Studio.
Monetize
View your rewards and monetization analytics across all of your active programs in TikTok:
• Estimated rewards: Review your estimated rewards from the past 7 days.
• Balance: Check your total balance.
• Rewards analytics: Monitor how you're currently collecting rewards.
• Programs for you: Explore other TikTok monetization programs to join.
• Active programs: View monetization programs you're currently enrolled in.
• Trending in Monetization: Discover creators, trending posts, and other monetization resources for inspiration.
Manage
Search, filter, and sort your posts and comments:
• Posts: View performance metrics such as likes, shares, and views, adjust privacy settings, and delete posts.
• Comments: Delete, like, dislike, and reply to comments.
Inbox
View and manage notifications for your TikTok account. Reading updates or managing notification settings will reflect across both apps.
• Creator notifications: View updates related to monetization, events, and post-performance.
• Account notifications: View updates related to your account information and reports you've submitted.
• Notification settings: Manage your creator and account notifications.
Note: Direct messaging isn't available in TikTok Studio. You can access your chats in the TikTok app.
