TikTok on Android
We've made an Android Package Kit (APK) for TikTok and TikTok Lite available to download on Android devices. TikTok Lite is an app that offers an alternative way to experience TikTok on your mobile device, with fewer features to optimize performance and save storage. You can watch, follow, and interact with creators or create your own posts, but some features such as LIVE and TikTok Shop are not available.
Important things to know:
• Our current robust protocols remain in place for our Android Package Kits to ensure our app remains safe and secure. Oracle and our Independent Security Inspectors continue to have access to our app's source code and can review it for potential vulnerabilities through technical security testing and validation of the TikTok U.S. Platform.
• To protect your device from malicious software, we recommend downloading our app from the TikTok website and avoiding downloads from any other websites or QR codes.
To download TikTok:
On a mobile browser
1. Go to www.tiktok.com/download.
2. Tap Download and follow the steps to install the app on your device.
On a web browser
1. Go to www.tiktok.com/download.
2. Scan the QR code and follow the steps to install the app on your device.
To download TikTok Lite:
On a mobile browser
1. Go to www.tiktok.com/download.
2. Tap Download and follow the steps to install the app on your device.
On a web browser
1. Go to www.tiktok.com/download.
2. Scan the QR code and follow the steps to install the app on your device.
Keep in mind that you'll be downloading the latest version of the app. Any future updates will be available from www.tiktok.com/download or Google Play once service is restored.
TikTok on iOS
To access TikTok on iOS devices:
1. Go to www.tiktok.com/download.
2. Tap Add TikTok to Home Screen and follow the steps to create a shortcut to TikTok.com to the home screen on your device.
