What is TikTok Lite?
TikTok Lite is an app that offers an alternative way to experience TikTok on your mobile device while consuming less data. The app provides a similar experience to the TikTok app with limited features, helping your device to optimize performance and use less storage. With TikTok Lite, you can watch, follow, and interact with creators and content, or create your own posts.
Note: TikTok Lite is only available on Android devices.
Getting started on TikTok Lite
To get started, download TikTok Lite from Google Play. Your TikTok account is linked with TikTok Lite so that you can stay logged in and navigate between the two apps, using the existing information you provided when creating an account. If you don't have a TikTok account, you can sign up through TikTok Lite directly.
Keep in mind that if you use your existing login information, the same account data and settings will be mirrored in TikTok Lite, such as your username and following.
Safety on TikTok Lite
TikTok Lite includes safety measures to protect our community. We provide access to safety features available on the TikTok app, such as screentime management and Family Pairing. Any safety features you set up in the TikTok app will automatically apply to TikTok Lite.
