TikTok Lite is an app that allows you to explore TikTok on your mobile device while consuming less cellular data. The app provides a similar experience to the TikTok app with limited features, helping your device optimize performance and use less storage. With TikTok Lite, you can watch, follow, and interact with creators and content, or create your own posts.
Important things to know about TikTok Lite:
• TikTok Lite is only available on Android devices.
• Your use of TikTok Lite is governed by our Terms of Service, and your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Getting started on TikTok Lite
Your TikTok account is linked with TikTok Lite, so you can stay logged in and navigate between the two apps. If you don't have a TikTok account, you can sign up through TikTok Lite directly and use it to access both apps.
Keep in mind that if you use your existing login information, your information will apply across both apps, including account data, privacy settings, and posted content.
To sign up or log in to TikTok Lite:
1. Download TikTok Lite from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Open the app. From here, you can:
• Create a TikTok account, which you can use for both TikTok and TikTok Lite.
• Log in using your existing TikTok account.
• Log in through a third-party platform, such as Facebook or Google. Keep in mind that if you choose this method, you should use the third-party login that you previously used for your TikTok account.
Safety on TikTok Lite
TikTok Lite includes safety measures to protect our community. We provide access to safety features available on the TikTok app, such as screentime management and Family Pairing. Any safety features you set up in the TikTok app will automatically apply to TikTok Lite.

Accessing a non-personalized experience
Depending on your location, you can choose to use TikTok Lite without personalized content recommendations. To access a non-personalized version of TikTok Lite, you can use the app as a guest without logging into an account, or you can manage your personalization settings directly within the app:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button at the top, then select Settings and privacy.
3. Tap Content preferences.
4. Tap Personalized feeds, then turn the setting off.
