Photosensitivity

The photosensitive epilepsy setting displays a warning that aims to protect those who may be sensitive to some of TikTok's creative effects. You can choose to filter out videos that contain TikTok effects that may cause visual sensitivity.

To opt out from photosensitive videos for your For You or Following feeds:
1. You'll be shown a warning before you view the video: "This video contains flashes of light that could trigger seizures for people with visual sensitivities. If you skip this video, we'll also remove other photosensitive videos."
2. Choose Watch video to continue seeing videos with these effects or choose Skip all to opt out.

To change the photosensitive videos setting:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button at the top, then select Settings and privacy.
3. Tap Accessibility.
4. Turn the Remove photosensitive videos setting on or off.
