What are Donations on TikTok?
Donations on TikTok allow you to send funds to nonprofit organizations from videos on the For You feed, LIVE, and profiles using the donation tool.
How Donations work on TikTok
You can add Donation Stickers to your videos and LIVE videos or Donation Links to your profile. Viewers can tap these stickers and links to donate to your linked organization via our third-party provider.
How to donate on TikTok
There are several ways you can donate on TikTok. You may find Donation Links in the following areas:
• A profile bio
• Stickers on videos
• Stickers on LIVE videos
• Links above video descriptions
To donate through TikTok:
1. In the TikTok app, tap the Donation Sticker included in a video or LIVE, or tap the Donation Link found in a profile bio.
2. Tap the Donate button at the bottom of the pop-up. If you'd like to find out more about the organization, tap Learn more on the Donations screen.
3. You'll be redirected to our third-party platform where you'll be asked:
• The amount you'd like to donate
• Your email
• If you want to remain anonymous
• If you allow the charity to contact you
4. Tap Next.
5. Choose your payment method, then tap Donate at the bottom. You'll receive a message to confirm your donation.
What are the requirements for donating on TikTok?
There are a few things to keep in mind when donating on TikTok:
• You must be 18 years or older to donate or collect donations on TikTok.
• The minimum donation amount is $3 USD.
• You must provide an email address with every donation.
• If you choose to remain non-anonymous, your name and donation amount may be displayed on the Donation screen.
