About Video Gifts on TikTok


Video Gifts are a way your viewers can react and show their appreciation for your content. Turning on Video Gifts is one way you can collect Diamonds for the popularity of your videos on TikTok.

To be eligible for Video Gifts, you must meet the following requirements:
•  You must live in a location where Video Gifts is available. This feature is not available everywhere.
•  You must be 18 years of age or older (or 19 in South Korea).
•  You need at least 10,000 followers and your account must be at least 30 days old.
•  You must have published a public video in the last 30 days.
•  Your account must be in good standing and adhere to our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
•  You must have a Personal Account. Business Accounts, Government, Politician, and Political Party Accounts and any other public interest account are ineligible to receive Gifts on their content.

Videos are ineligible if they include:
•  Duets and Stitches.
•  Ads, sponsored content, or promoted posts.
•  Content that violates our Community Guidelines

Note: Receiving Gifts and collecting Diamonds is subject to our virtual items policies.






How to turn on Video Gifts


To turn on Video Gifts:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button at the top.
3. Tap Creator tools, then tap Video Gifts.
4. Turn the Gifts setting on, review the eligibility requirements, and tap Turn on Gifts.






How to manage Video Gifts


To turn Video Gifts on or off in TikTok:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button at the top.
3. Tap Creator tools, then tap Video Gifts.
4. Tap the Gifts setting on or off.
