How are rewards calculated in the Creator Rewards Program?
Your eligible videos start to collect rewards as soon as they reach 1,000 qualified For You feed views. We calculate rewards based on the following conditions:
• Qualified views: The legitimate views for your eligible videos that comply with the Creator Rewards Program terms (see terms for Brazil, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, the U.K., and the U.S). Qualified views are unique video views from the For You feed and excludes fraudulent views, paid views, disliked views, views with less than 5 seconds watched, promoted views, and artificial views.
• RPM: The average rewards collected per 1,000 qualified views. RPM considers many factors, including:
༚ Video performance (your videos' average watch time and finish rates)
༚ Search value (the amount of search traffic that your content generates, including video views on the search page)
༚ Location (the region where you're based and where your video is viewed)
༚ Video engagement (the amount of viewers that engage with your content)
༚ Advertising value (your viewer's ad watch time on TikTok)
To increase your RPM, focus on producing high-quality, original, and engaging content that considers the program's key factors. Keep in mind that once you receive approval to join the Creator Rewards Program, only eligible videos that are posted after you're approved can collect rewards.
Note: All videos for the Creator Rewards Program must adhere to our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

How to collect a payment from the Creator Rewards Program
Your accumulated rewards will be calculated the month after the date the rewards were obtained. If you're located in Brazil, Japan, South Korea, or the U.S. and the payable amount meets the minimum payment threshold of $10 USD or the equivalent local currency, payments will be made on the 15th of the month and automatically processed to your payout account. You'll also receive an inbox notification about the payment, which directs you to the transaction details.
If you're located in Europe and the payable amount meets the minimum payment threshold of $10 USD or the equivalent local currency, you can collect a payment for the rewards accumulated 30 days after the end of the month that you obtained rewards.
Once your payments have processed, you can view a history of your transactions.
To view your transaction history:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button at the top, then select Balance.
3. Tap Transactions, then tap the earnings you want to view.
A few things to know about your earnings:
• You'll need to complete the payout account setup and onboarding, which may include tax information collection.
• At this time, PayPal is the only method of payment for creators who are located in the U.S., Japan, South Korea, or Brazil. Learn more about collecting your payments through PayPal.
• Payments are usually processed within 72 hours if you choose PayPal as your payment method. If you choose a bank account as your payment method, your payment can take up to 15 days to be processed. Please note this timeline as financial institutions may withhold the withdrawal amount for an additional period of time at their sole discretion for security review purposes.
• You may request an invoice for each payment from your transaction history.
• VAT-registered creators must issue a proper VAT invoice to TikTok. To simplify this requirement, if you read and accept the Creator Rewards Program Self-billing agreement, TikTok can issue the invoices on your behalf. If you're a taxable person, you'll be prompted to complete the Self-billing agreement before you can receive your first payment.
• The payment period may be subject to change.
