How to create a Series
You can create a Series in the TikTok app or on your computer.
To create a Series in the app:
Post screen
1. In the TikTok app, tap the Post + button at the bottom of the screen and upload or record your video.
2. Tap Next to add a video caption and any other information you want, then tap More options.
3. Tap Add to Series and add a Series title and video title.
4. Tap Next and add a description, price, and cover photo for your entire Series.
5. Tap Next to review the Series details and tap Submit to submit the Series for review, or tap Save to save it to your drafts.
Profile
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile, then tap the Series link in your profile bio.
2. Tap Go to Series Portal and tap New Series to add a title, description, price, and cover photo for your Series. You can also add a limited-time discount.
3. Tap Next to review your details and tap New video to upload videos to your Series. You can edit your video and will be asked to choose your privacy settings.
4. Tap Next and add a title for your video, then tap Next to review your Series details. You can add or remove videos as well.
5. Tap Submit to submit your Series for review or Save to save it to your drafts.
Series Portal
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom then tap the Menu ☰ button at the top.
2. Tap Creator center and then tap Series in the Monetization section.
3. Tap New Series to add a title, description, price, and cover photo for your Series. You can also add a limited-time discount.
4. Tap Next to review your details and tap New video to upload videos to your Series. You can edit your video and will be asked to choose your privacy settings.
5. Tap Next and add a title for your video, then tap Next to review your Series details. You can add or remove videos as well.
6. Tap Submit to submit your Series for review or Save to save it to your drafts.
To create a Series on your computer:
1. Go to www.tiktok.com/series and log in to your account.
2. Click your profile picture, then select Series.
3. Click New Series and add a Name, Description, Cover, and Pricing.
4. On the next page, select and upload the videos you'd like to include in one Series.
5. Once you've uploaded all your videos, click Submit to finish.
Keep in mind you can upload:
༚ Up to 80 videos per Series.
༚ Videos between 30 seconds and 20 minutes in length.
༚ All video formats, though MP4 is recommended.
༚ Up to 4GB per video.
༚ Videos in vertical (recommended) and horizontal format.
Once submitted, your Series will be reviewed to make sure it meets our Community Guidelines. Review may take up to 72 hours depending on the content length. You'll be notified when your Series is approved and published. Once published, viewers can pay for access to the Series from your profile or if you link it to one of your TikTok videos.
How to manage a Series
You can manage your Series in the TikTok app or on your computer. You have the ability to add videos, set a video as a trailer, and more. Keep in mind, you can manage a drafted Series in the app and a published Series on your computer.
To manage your Series in the app:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Series link in your profile bio, then tap Go to Series Portal.
3. Tap a Series draft you want to manage. In the video section, you can:
༚ Tap the + button to add additional videos
༚ Tap the Edit button at the top to reorder or delete videos
4. Tap the More ... button at the top and click on Edit Series details to modify the details you'd like to change or add. You can edit or add:
༚ Title
༚ Description
༚ Cover photo
༚ Pricing
༚ A discount
5. Tap Next and then tap Save to update the changes.
You can also manage your Series from your TikTok account on a computer. Here you can check your Series' status and user ratings, change the order of videos, delete a video, and more.
To manage a Series on your computer:
1. Log in to your account on a desktop browser.
2. Click your profile picture, then select Series.
3. Click Manage Series.
4. From here, you can:
༚ Upload videos
༚ Delete videos
༚ Edit the Series name, description, and cover
༚ Edit video title
༚ Manage drafts
༚ View the total number of video purchases
༚ Manage Series discounts
༚ Check the review status
༚ Check user ratings
༚ Change the order of videos ༚ Unlist a Series
Keep in mind:
• You can't edit pricing after a Series is posted.
• You can edit the Series details and video descriptions and covers up to 5 times after it's posted.
• You can only delete a single video from your Series on the app, but you can delete an entire Series on your computer.
How to link a Series to your TikTok video
To link a Series to your TikTok video:
1. Before you post a video, tap Add link on the Post screen in the TikTok app.
2. Tap Series and select the Series you want to link to your video.
3. Tap Add to video to continue.
4. Make any additional changes on the Post screen and tap Post to complete. The link will appear in your video above your caption and will direct people to your paywalled content.
About Series ratings
Viewers who purchase your Series can submit a rating that is published on the Series screen. You can also view your overall ratings in Manage Series.
