How to save your login information
We save your login information by default so that you don't need to enter it the next time you log into your TikTok account.
You can choose not to save your login information during log in and from your account settings.
From log in
1. Open the TikTok app, then tap the account you'd like to log into, or tap Use phone/email/username.
2. Enter your phone number, email, or username.
3. If you don't want to save your login information, unselect the Save login info to log in automatically next time option.
4. Complete your log in.
From your settings
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button, then select Settings and privacy.
3. Tap Security & permissions.
4. Turn the Save login info setting on or off.
Keep in mind that if you delete or reinstall the app, you'll automatically be logged into the last account you used. If you choose not to save your login information, your account won't be logged in automatically. We’ll still show your account the next time you log in, but you’ll need to enter your password to log in successfully.
How we store your login information
We store your login information, such as your username, profile picture, and preferred login method, in your iCloud or Google account. Your information will be saved across devices as long as you log in using the same iCloud or Google account. This means that if you log into multiple devices using the same iCloud or Google account, each of these devices will store your login information. Additionally, if you choose to save your login information, then you can log in without needing to enter your credentials.
How to remove your TikTok account from a device
You can remove your account from the login panel at any time. When you remove an account, the login information for that account will be deleted from your iCloud or Google account and removed from all your linked devices. Keep in mind that removing an account will turn off the save login info setting if you've turned it on.
To remove an account:
On Android devices
1. Go to the login panel in the TikTok app.
2. Tap Manage accounts at the bottom.
3. Tap the Delete button next to the account you want to remove.
4. Tap Remove to confirm.
On iOS devices
1. Go to the login panel in the TikTok app.
2. Tap the Delete button next to the account you'd like to remove.
3. Tap Remove to confirm.
