Hacked TikTok account

If you notice any of these suspicious behaviors, your account may have been hacked:

•  Your account password or phone number has been changed.

•  Your account username or nickname has been changed.

•  Your videos have been deleted or posted without your permission.

•  Messages that you did not write were sent from your account.


Here are some tips to protect your TikTok account:


1. Reset your password

1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button at the top, then select Settings and privacy.
3. Tap Account.
4. Tap Password.
5. Change your password.


2. Link your phone number

1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button at the top, then select Settings and privacy.
3. Tap Account.
4. Tap Account Information.
5. Tap Phone number.
6. Link your phone number.


3. Remove suspicious devices

1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button at the top, then select Settings and privacy.
3. Tap Security & permissions.
4. Tap Manage devices and review the devices listed.
5. Remove unwanted or suspicious devices.
