Why can't I view or send comments on TikTok LIVE?

As a creator or moderator on TikTok LIVE:
•  You won't be able to view or send comments if you turned LIVE comments off.
•  Some comments won't be displayed to you if you filter LIVE comments, block keywords, or mute or block comments from a specific viewer. Learn more about comments on TikTok LIVE. As a viewer on TikTok LIVE:
•  You won't be able to view or send comments if the creator or moderator turned off LIVE comments.
•  Some comments won't be displayed to you if the creator or moderator has filtered comments, blocked keywords, or muted or blocked comments from another viewer.
•  If you're muted or blocked by the creator or moderator, we'll notify you and you won't be able to view the LIVE or submit comments until the mute duration is over or you're unmuted or unblocked.
•  We display prompts to encourage viewers to reconsider the impact of their words before posting a potentially unkind or harmful comment. If you post comments that are reported by others and violate our Community Guidelines, we may suspend your account's ability to complete some actions on TikTok, including the ability to post LIVE comments (typically between 24 and 48 hours). Learn more about what happens to your TikTok account if your content is flagged or reported.
