What is co-host on TikTok?
Co-host LIVE allows multiple creators to go LIVE together at the same time. This helps creators connect with each other and offer new ways to interact with their viewers through co-host modes. By using co-host, creators can gain more viewers and create a variety of content.
What is a co-host mode?
Co-host modes are different challenges that creators can participate in together during a co-host LIVE, such as a LIVE match.
How to start a co-host LIVE
1. During your LIVE, tap +Hosts at the bottom.
2. From here:
༚ Tap Send to invite a random recommended creator.
༚ Tap Invite to invite a friend (followers you follow back), people you may know, or other recommended creators.
After the creator accepts your invite, the co-host will start. Keep in mind that recommended creators are suggested based on basic account information such as their app language or number of followers, as well as their past LIVE content.
How to start a co-host mode
1. Start the co-host, then tap the Match or Play button at the bottom.
2. Select a co-host mode, then tap Send invite.
After the creator accepts your invite, the co-host mode will start.
