What happens if your account is ineligible for recommendation?
At TikTok, we want to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. That's why we may hide unsuitable content from the For You feed and make accounts that post such content harder to find.
If you repeatedly post content that is unsuitable for the For You feed, your account and posts won't appear in the For You feed and will be harder to find in search.
We may automatically restore your account to good standing at any time, depending on how much content on your account isn't suitable for the For You feed. Otherwise, you can submit an appeal.
How to submit an appeal for an ineligible account
If your account becomes ineligible for recommendation, we'll notify you in your inbox notifications and profile to understand what content was flagged and why.
