TikTok is available for people 13 years and older (or other ages in certain regions as indicated in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service). People in the United States who are under 13 years old may create an account to access a TikTok experience specifically designed for them.
If you believe someone on TikTok is under 13 years old or has an account that isn’t in the age-appropriate mode, please report it to us.
Note: The TikTok experience designed for people under 13 is only available in the US.
To report an underage TikTok account:
From the TikTok app
1. Go to the account you want to report.
2. Tap the Share button at the top.
3. Tap Report.
4. Tap Report account, then select User could be under 13 years old.
5. Tap Submit.
From your web browser
1. On your browser, go to the account you want to report.
2. Click the More options … button.
3. Click Report.
4. Click Report account, then select User could be under 13 years old.
5. Click Submit.
From our reporting form
1. Go to our online reporting form.
2. Select the topic Report an underage user.
3. Enter the account information and click Submit.
Note: You must be located in the US to report an underage account using our reporting form.
For parents and guardians
If you're a parent or legal guardian and you'd like TikTok to delete the account of your child under the age of 13, you can contact us through our online reporting form. However, if you're located in the United States, you must contact us through this privacy webform.
