Post view history allows you to see who has viewed your posts and keeps you informed about viewer engagement. If you turn this setting on, people you follow who also have this setting on will be able to see that you viewed their posts.
Post view history displays views from:
• People who follow you have turned on post view history and viewed your posts.
• People who don't follow you that have liked, or commented on your posts. This applies regardless if the other person has post view history turned on or off.
• People who have viewed your posts that were posted within the last 7 days.
Note: Only people who are 16 years or older and have fewer than 5,000 followers will have access to this feature. Your Story view history won't be affected and is separated from post view history.
How to turn post view history on or off
To turn post view history on or off:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button at the top, then select Settings and privacy.
3. Tap Privacy, then select Post views.
4. Turn Post view history on or off. Keep in mind that even if you turn this setting off, your comments and likes on others' posts will still appear as views to them.
