Refreshing your For You feed on TikTok
You can refresh your For You feed to view a new set of popular videos, as if you've just signed up to TikTok. The more you interact with these new videos—such as liking, commenting, saving to favorites—the more we'll learn about the type of content you're interested in and we'll start to show you a more personalized feed again.
How to refresh your For You feed
To refresh your For You feed:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu button at the top.
3. Tap Settings and privacy, then tap Content Preferences.
4. Tap Refresh your For You feed and follow the instructions provided to finish. Once you refresh the feed, it can't be undone.
A few things to know about refreshing your For You feed
• Only your For You feed is refreshed—other areas of TikTok are not affected, such as your Following feed, profile, and inbox.
• As you interact with the new videos on the For You feed, your personalized profile will be refreshed to show you more varied content than before. We'll continue to use the personalized profile that previously shaped your For You feed to bring you personalized content in other areas of TikTok such as ads and other feeds.
