Text posts allow you to post text based content to share your ideas and express written creativity with the TikTok community.
How to create posts with text
To create a text post:
1. In the TikTok app, tap the Add post + button at the bottom.
2. Tap Text at the bottom of the screen.
3. Enter text and tap Done on the side of the screen. Adjust the font type, alignment, size style or color.
4. You can tap Stickers to select from the Stickers or Emojis tab or search for animated GIFs.
5. Drag to move your animation or make additional edits on the Post screen.
6. Tap Post to feed or Your Story to complete. Otherwise, you can tap the Drafts button to save and edit it later.
Keep in mind that your posts will be published to the For You and Following feeds if you choose to post to feed. You can choose who can view your post in your settings on the Post screen. People can view and interact with your text posts just like your other content.
