How to watch TikTok on a TV
You can watch TikTok videos on a TV by casting from your mobile phone.
What devices can you use to cast TikTok to a TV?
You can cast TikTok from the following devices:
• An Android phone running Android 6.0 or later
• An iPhone running iOS 12.0 or later
Note: You can cast TikTok to devices that support Google Chromecast built-in. Learn more about the TVs that Chromecast devices require.
How to cast TikTok to a TV
To cast to a TV from your device:
1. Make sure both your phone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, then open the TikTok app and go to the video you'd like to cast to a TV.
2. Tap the Share button and then tap Cast to TV on the bottom. You may need to scroll to the right to see Cast to TV. On iOS, if it's your first time casting, you'll be prompted to allow access to your local network to cast devices.
3. Select which TV you'd like to cast to. If you don't see the TV, tap the Refresh button.
4. To stop casting, tap the casting device banner at the bottom and then Tap to disconnect.
Note: To change TVs, tap the casting device banner at the bottom and then select which TV you'd like to cast to.
