What are sticker sets on TikTok?
Sticker sets are graphics that can be used with direct messaging on TikTok. You can upload your own sticker creations to TikTok Stickers to make sticker sets and make them available in the sticker store for others to send in direct messages.
Note: You must be aged 18 years and older to upload sticker sets. If you're under 18 years old, you'll need to agree you have consent from a parent or guardian in the Terms of Service.
How to make sticker sets on TikTok
You can upload your sticker creations at TikTok Stickers on your computer to make sticker sets.
To upload stickers:
1. On your desktop browser, go to www.tiktok.com/stickers and log in to your TikTok account.
2. Click Create new set or Create from the side menu, then follow the on-screen instructions to select a sticker type. You can choose from Static or Animated.
3. Select and upload the stickers from your computer that you'd like to include in the set. If you've selected Animated, you must also upload a thumbnail image.
You can upload:
༚ Up to 24 stickers per set.
༚ APNG, GIF, WebP, PNG, and JPEG files.
༚ Up to 3MB per file.
༚ Files with a 1:1 ratio.
4. Enter a name for each individual sticker. The character limit is 16. You can also reorder, delete, and preview the sticker set.
5. Once you've successfully uploaded all your stickers, click Next to continue. Otherwise, you can click Save draft to complete it later.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to add a name, cover image, and description for the sticker set. Click Next to continue.
7. Review your set and our Terms of Service and confirm copyright ownership.
8. Click Submit to finish.
Once submitted, your sticker set will be reviewed to make sure it meets our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. During this time, you can still make changes to your sticker set, if needed. You'll be notified when your sticker set is approved and published. Once published, users can access the sticker set from your public profile or the sticker panel in direct messages.
How to manage your sticker sets
You can manage your sticker sets from your TikTok account on a desktop browser. Here you can check the status of your sticker sets, edit, withdraw, delete, and view your existing sticker sets.
To manage a TikTok sticker set:
1. On your desktop browser, go to www.tiktok.com/stickers/manage and log in to your TikTok account.
2. To edit your sticker sets, click Edit below the Action column. You may then make changes to your stickers and re-submit them for review.
3. To withdraw a submitted sticker set, click Withdraw below the Action column.
4. To delete a submitted sticker set, click Delete below the Action column. Keep in mind, the sticker set will be permanently deleted.
What are video stickers on TikTok?
Video stickers are TikTok videos that are converted into stickers which can be uploaded to the sticker store for others to discover and use in direct messaging.
Note: You must be aged 16 years and older to create video stickers and allow others to create stickers from your videos.
How to create a video sticker on TikTok
To create a video sticker:
1. In the TikTok app, choose a video:
༚ Tap the Share button on the side of the video.
༚ From your profile, tap the More options button on the side of your video.
2. Tap Create sticker. Only videos with the sticker permission turned on will display this option.
3. Edit the sticker, as needed. You can choose to add text and crop the video. When you're done, tap Next.
4. To choose who can discover and use your video sticker in TikTok, turn the Add to sticker store setting on or off.
5. Tap Create sticker. Your sticker is added to the favorites tab in your direct messages and is ready to be used.
To create a video sticker in a direct message:
1. In the TikTok app, go to a direct message in your Inbox.
2. Tap the Emoji button.
3. Tap the Favorites button, then tap the Create sticker button.
4. Choose a video from the Liked, Posted, or Favorites tabs. Only videos with sticker permissions will be displayed here.
5. Edit the sticker, as needed. You can choose to add text and crop the video. When you're done, tap Next.
6. To choose who can discover and use your video sticker in TikTok, turn the Add to sticker store setting on or off.
7. Tap Create sticker. Your sticker is added to the favorites tab in your direct messages and is ready to be used. To remove the sticker from your favorites, tap and hold on the sticker, then tap Remove.
Any video stickers you create are also available from your profile where you can send them in a direct message, view the original video, add them to the sticker store, or delete them.

How to manage your video stickers
You can choose who can create stickers from your videos in your privacy settings, add or remove your stickers from the sticker store, and delete your stickers.
Manage sticker privacy settings for your TikTok videos
To choose who can create stickers with all your videos:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu button at the top.
3. Tap Settings and privacy.
4. Tap Privacy, then tap Stickers.
5. Choose who you'd like to allow to create stickers. This setting is turned on by default to Everyone if you're aged 18 years or older and your account is public.
To choose who can create stickers from your video before you post:
1. In the TikTok app, create your video.
2. On the Post screen, tap More options.
3. Turn the Allow stickers setting on or off.
To choose who can create stickers from one of your videos:
1. In the TikTok app, go to the video you'd like to update. You can find your videos on your Profile.|
2. Tap the More options button on the side of the video.
3. Tap Privacy settings at the bottom. You may need to swipe left.
4. Turn the Allow stickers setting on or off.
Add or remove your video sticker from the sticker store
To add or remove your video sticker from the sticker store:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Sticker store button.
3. Tap a sticker. From here:
༚ Tap Add to store to add your sticker to the sticker store and make it visible to others on your public profile.
༚ Tap Hide from profile and store to remove it from your profile and the sticker store. You'll still be able to send your sticker in direct messages, but it won't be visible to others from your public profile.
Delete your video sticker
To delete your video sticker from the sticker store:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Sticker store button.
3. Tap a sticker, then tap Delete. Your sticker will be deleted but can still be accessed in existing chats.
