TikTokWhat is Discover?
Discover allows you to search and explore the wide variety of content in the TikTok community, including trending videos, hashtags, creators, and sponsored content.
Note: Some people will see the Friends tab in place of Discover. This feature isn't currently available everywhere.
How to access the Discover tab
To access the Discover tab:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Discover at the bottom.
2. Use the search bar at the top to find specific content or explore trending videos, hashtags, creators, sponsored content, and more.
How to search on TikTok
To search for people, videos, sounds, hashtags, and more:
1. In the TikTok app, tap the Search button at the top.
2. Enter what you're looking for in the search bar, then tap Search. Keep in mind that the most relevant search results appear in the Top tab.
3. To refine your search, tap the More options … button at the top, then tap Filters to sort through your search results. Tap Apply after you select the filters.
