Streaks is a way to keep track of the people you message the most on TikTok. If you message someone more than 3 days in a row, a Streak badge displays on the chat. The Streak grows as you continue to exchange messages. Streak badges disappear if both of you don't interact in the chat after 24 hours. You'll be notified when you receive a Streak or if your Streak is about to expire.
How to manage Streak notifications
You can manage Streak notifications from your settings in the TikTok app. To turn Streak notifications on or off:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button at the top, then select Settings and privacy.
3. Tap Notifications.
4. From here:
༚ Turn the Streaks setting on or off for push notifications.
༚ Tap In-app notifications, then turn the Streaks setting on or off.
