TikTokHow to add songs from TikTok to a music app
You can add songs from TikTok to your playlists on a variety of music apps including Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Spotify.
Note: Only original songs that are available on the music app can be added to your playlist.
To connect a music app to TikTok
From the For You feed
1. In the TikTok app, go to the video that contains a song you want to add to your playlist.
2. Tap Add song at the bottom.
3. Tap your preferred music app, then follow the instructions to connect your account.
Keep in mind that this option may not be available everywhere.
From the song
1. In the TikTok app, go to the video that contains a song you want to add to your playlist.
2. Tap the sound at the bottom.
3. Tap Add to music app, then select your preferred music app and follow the instructions to connect your account.
You can also connect a music app directly from your settings by tapping Music then Choose app.
To add a song from TikTok to your playlist
1. Go to the video that contains a song you want to add to your playlist.
2. Tap the Add to music app button at the bottom. You can also tap the song, then tap the music app.
The song will then be added to the default playlist in your preferred music app. Keep in mind, the default playlist may differ depending on the music app you've selected. If you need to make any changes:
༚ Tap Edit on the confirmation message, then select a different playlist (Amazon Music and Apple Music only).
༚ Tap Undo on the confirmation message to remove the song from your playlist (Spotify only). Keep in mind that this option may not be available everywhere.
To manage the music app connected to your TikTok account
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button at the top.
3. Tap Settings and privacy.
4. Tap Music, then tap Save to music app.
5. To remove a linked account, select the music app, then tap Unlink. To change the music app, select a different app, then tap Switch.
