TikTok Stories allow you to view photos or videos that are available to watch for 24 hours. You can send replies or emoji reactions to interact with Stories.

How to see Stories
You can watch Stories posted by others from the following places:
• Inbox
• Public profiles
• Following feed
• For You feed
Keep in mind that people can see you viewed their Story even if your account is private or your profile view history is turned off.
How to send Story reactions and replies
You can react to Stories with emojis, or reply with direct messages. Story reactions and direct message replies sent to friends (followers you follow back) will be sent directly to the inbox. Otherwise, they'll be sent as message requests.
To react or reply to a Story:
1. In the TikTok app, tap the profile photo of the person whose Story you'd like to interact with.
2. Tap Message and enter your message, then tap the Send button. You can also select an Emoji to send your reaction.
